Eastern Promise never changes and it is not an indonesian atmosphere? Food was good and staff were lovely, but why on God's green earth would you go to a dive like this in a city with so many great bars and restaurants? Oh, that's right so you can be with a bunch of other loud mouth and agro expats living a solitary confined western life in a brilliant city like Jakarta.
Seriously, if you need to go to this place to feel better about not being back home in the UK, Aus or US then go back home.
In fact entering this place was like entering a frat house. Do yourself a favour, avoid at all costs and go somewhere nice like SkyBar in Menara BCA, Facebar or Social House. Reminded me of what I don't like about being back home. Yuck!

2014-06-09I haven been here for a while, but this sports cafe is more about sport with loud hooligans. I not really care. I do like the live music in the garden
