Location of building Wayang Museum on Jl. Great Northern No. door. 27. was originally the site of an old church that VOC was established in 1640 under the name de oude Kerk Hollandsche until in 1732 that serves as a place for worship of civilians and soldiers who lived in the Dutch BataviaIn 1733 the church was improved, and the name was changed to de nieuwe Hollandsche Kerk and kept standing until 1808. In the church yard is now a park open space Puppet Museum, in which there is a small garden with the inscription-inscriptions, amounting to 9 (nine) piece that displays the names of the Dutch officers who had buried in the church yard
