Cheer On Your Team
Jalan Falatehan I/6-8 Blok M
South Jakarta
Phone: +62 21 720 4731
Located on a quiet
street around the corner from Pasaraya, this down-to-earth, cool and rather dimly lit bar can become extremely lively when a
major sporting event is in progress. Downstairs are two bars, the ubiquitous pool table and a couple of televisions, usually
broadcasting a sporting event. Climb upstairs and you will come to another bar, a pool table and yet more televised sports.
Beers include Boddingtons, Corona and Heineken, in addition to cheaper local varieties. If you are feeling hungry, basic "pub
grub" is available, such as sandwiches, pizzas and steaks. Average cost per person: IDR50,000.

South Jakarta
Phone: +62 21 781 8649
This
Hollywood-themed restaurant specializes in gourmet burgers and freshly-made sandwiches bearing the names of well-known
celebrities such as Winona Ryder, Madonna and Drew Barrymore. The menu also includes favorites, such as nachos, fajitas, fish
and chips, and spaghetti. Upon entering the restaurant, you will find yourself in a dim rectangular-shaped room. Photos of
Hollywood stars covering the walls evoke the diner era of Hollywood in the 1940s and 1950s. An adjoining room incorporates a
pool table and private bar, which serves the usual selection of bar drinks.

Revive times long gone
Jalan
Jenderal Sudirman Kav. 18-20
Le Meridien Hotel South Jakarta
Phone: +62 21 251 3131, Fax: +62 21 571 1640
Travel back in time at the Tiga Puluh Bar, which claims to revive the
1930s spirit of joie de vivre (joy of life). With nostalgic black-and-white pictures, classy 1950s-style Scandinavian
furniture, and live music (generally pop and jazz), you really feel as if you have been transported to another era. A range
of beers, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks are available at the bar, which features comfortable chairs rather than
traditional barstools. Unlike many of Jakarta's bars, most of the patrons are in their 30s to 40s, many of whom are Western
expatriates.
