I recently got notice of a changed rule regaring single entry business visa(sebv).
Normally if you apply for a sebv you can stay for a period of 6 months without leaving the country.
The first 2 months upon arrival are free. After that you can extend your visa 4 times for a period of 1 month, which makes a maximum total of 6 months.

Previously you did NOT need to go to the immigration office if an agent will process the application for you. You pay the agent an extra fee. My agent askes RP 700 for the first extention, rp900 for the second and 3rd extention and 1.1 Million for the last extention.

The main reason people pay these agents, so they don't have to go to the immigration office.

Now the rule is changed that you STILL have to go to the immigration office the second time you extend it to take your digital fingerprints and signature.

So, if you don't mind going there you can save some money every month. The normal price is about 250 - 300 / extention.

Hi Danny, the problem is that once you have got several socio budhaya and business visa's LIKE ME, and you got a kitas after that, it is very hard to go back to the socio budhaya. Best thing is go through BATAM! Don't go through jakarta airport where those long faced ass!@#!@# immigration officers will ask you tons of questions. In BATAM the immigration is just more friendly. Also if they ask you what you will do in Indonesia, tell them you will look for a beautifull indonesian beauty to marry and smile..smile if your life depends on it
