The Unique interior was inspired by a story of 2 friends in Hong Kong named Bong and Kim.One day Kim had languished in prison for committing silly mistakes. Because of solidarity, Kim tried to accompany Bong in prison by applying as a chef. However, because the food was good, when the time for many prisoners to be released came, They requested an extension of the detention period.In the end the government had to close the prison and turn it into a restaurant Bong Kopitown with the tagline The Happiest Prisoner on Earth
